In Laarbeek, Grif Energy developed the Vossenberg Solar Park with 4,000 solar panels across 8 hectares. The park combines energy generation with ecological development and contributes to grid stability through the Energy Storage System (ESS).
Features and Impact
In addition to generating sustainable energy, biodiversity is enhanced through measures supporting partridges, shrubland birds, and badgers. Local residents actively participate in the project, and an Energy Storage System (ESS) is being developed to support grid stability.
The creation of species-rich areas and shrubland provides additional habitat for local wildlife. Local residents were given the opportunity to participate financially, helping to raise awareness and strengthen community involvement in renewable energy projects.
